"de Yudasto" is a name woven with family history, a blend of my Peruvian mother's and Indonesian father's last name. It means "from Yudasto," and in that simple phrase lies the essence of my work.
Inspired by the ephemeral beauty of nature – melting ice, undulating oceans – I strive to capture the magic of constant change in my pieces. Each creation is unique, a singular moment like no other, much like each distinct ripple in water.
Like a signature at the close of a heartfelt note– these glass pieces are gifts, offered from my hands and heart.

The Story Behind the Glass
Hi, I’m Angelica.
My journey into jewelry making runs right alongside my ongoing fine art practice. Years ago, I fell completely in love with glass~not just for its versatility, but because of the way it mimics the fluid, living movement of water and the ocean.
Between working on larger-scale pieces in the studio, I began crafting small, handmade glass earrings during the pandemic simply as gifts for friends. With everyone’s encouragement, I started this venture and began selling.
Today, every ‘de Yudasto’ piece is meticulously flame-worked and handcrafted by me. No wave or ring is the same as another~the way no connection is the same. Each is personalized, and I love that intimate approach to glass.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the beauty of connection and how these pieces carry their own stories. Yes, they are fragile, but perhaps it’s also a reminder that beautiful, precious things like love can last forever if you take good care of it.
You can regularly find me at Fort Greene Park at their Saturday markets, and occasionally around NYC.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll likely find me exploring museums, traveling, or hanging out with my dog, Momo.
